Brought her home. She's a beaut!

beamishken was right about the tube size not mattering, it's way more than 15 inches from the keel section to the top of the tube. I saw the 15" tube model sitting next to a double decker 17" tube model and they look almost the same size.

The keel is nice for a boat this size

Thanks to everyone who helped out!

If you have space to store a trailer, get a trailer. You won't regret it.

Inflating and deflating the boat at the ramp gets very old very quick.

With the solid hull the boat slides nicely into the Subaru Outback deflated.

I have a 1500 W inverter in the vehicle which will power a 750 W shop vac used to inflate the boat followed by the provided foot pump with the PSI gauge.

I timed inflation with the shop vac... 2 seconds per tube No special attachment required

Sounds like you got a good set up for you in the end. Everyone does things slightly differently but as long as you have what suits you then its fine.
Hope you enjoy!

Thx for the nudge towards the RIB, beamishken

Here's a nice pic of the dinghy below (RAN Sailing on YT, worth the watch)

Only five months before the snow melts
