And some more
Chatting to a local in Tobermory and he said that the summer has been great.
View out of the marina where we are staying, has been beautiful, weather rough today though but hoping for an improvement tomorrow.
Don't worry I will be back to silly hour working days soon, holiday clocks ticking too fast.

Great memories, for any of you who haven't been to the north west of Scotland boating its a must as the other folks will tell you.

I love the "west" coast of Scotland. I went there in June for a week and I am going back there in November for some nocturnal afternoon sight seeing.
After what I have read on here I think I will be taking my rib up next year even though it's a long way from Cornwall.

But at least you'll have crossed the Tamar & ventured to foreign lands, unlike some

Iona
Managed Iona today, but too rough to continue to Staffa, kids not so keen.
Two hours each way, just got back before heavens opened, was very blustery but well worth it.

Getting to Iona but not Staffa is better than not getting to either . Well done sounds like a good effort

Me and the brother in law had to watch the boats at the slip as the tide was going out quick. Girlies and kids went off though.
Trip back reminded me of the rib cruise back in March April along the straits to Conwy and back, I remember your rib doing really well

We used a couple of moorings and borrowed a yachties tender to get to the beach. The ferry from mull was using the wall where you are moored up in the pics.
As for the Straits...Thanks Yeh it was a bit choppy coming back from Conwy to puffin Island for sure ,but Imogen has been out in a lot worse than that I'm not sure if its my rib that is capable or that I'm just stupid Don't answer that if you think it's the latter
