grab handle
Hi ,
I installed recently a grab bar on my SR5.4 which is far more practicable rather than the 2 grab handles each side of the console - they are simply too low and useless ..

Further updates:
New colour coordinated rear backrest and plotter, new handles to rear of tubes each side, courtesy lights to side of seat (red light each side), notice cut out at rear of seat consul half finished due to weather but will be white LED, nav lights, stainless folding anchor (awaiting stainless chain) and turbo pump.
Getting there but still loads to do!

Recently sold my Defender, they are a sort of love hate motor, great for messing about in but as you get older comfort takes over, decided to stick with the D3. Anyway that does look special, if it comes with EVERYTHING attached or hanging on it I would certainly be interested

Hadn't thought of that
Anyway, as you can see I am doing everything I said I would unlike some people who are all talk and no action It is just taking a bit of time due to the weather and the fact that I like to go out and use it, I'm not just a desk based mariner
Should all be completed within 2 weeks as I am waiting for some parts from the US, I will also have the new bigger stainless prop so see what effect that has. Stainless steel anchor chain will be delivered tomorrow so I will splice that on to the anchor line at the weekend which will finish off the anchoring department nicely.
I think that you will notice that everything done is looking good and to the best available standard, it will be a nice little tender for someone when I'm finished
Been working on the mother ship, having multi colour change Lumishore type lighting throughout the cockpit which works with a remote, a bit like this Amazon.com: Lumishore Surface Mount 60W Color Change - Pair w/Controller: Electronics (can be fitted above or below water) !
I'm getting two sets to cover the whole of the two decks I was going to fit it on the RIB but the power draw was too big really for such a small vessel, plus I would just look like a sputnik zooming about as one big glow
I need another project now, maybe go bigger on a RIB

Got the microwave, it's in one of the previous pictures but if you missed it here it is
I have ruled out the fuel sell for the RIB, the unit is too big (but still researching for mother ship and motorhome, they are standard in some new motorhomes now), I have got the 50amp Red Top Optima with 815 CCA which is more than capable of running the bits I have already, I also bought a battery booster pack 12v/24v for when more power may be required Clarke Dual Voltage Jump Start 12/24V - Machine Mart

Re headlamp, rang the USA and now ordered the double Magna LEDPB10W-20E in Black with flood mode, also ordered the Magna PWB controller for dimming the light and a separate wiring loom which they are making for me as the light cables and controller are terminated with a Deutsch IPD / LADD DT04-2P connectors, that way it will be plug and play, I will get more use with the controller than full on 1,720 Lumens
Front with twin CREE XLamp MC-E 10watt LEDs giving out 860 lumens each . Size of unit is 4.8" Long, 2.5" High, 3.5" Deep, nicely made in solid Aluminium and stainless steel. I chose Flood beam lighting 120' Long x 100' Wide compared to the other option of the Spot @ 375' Long x 70' Wide
Controller:
