Well lucky you

UK winter off season between Oct - April can mean anything from 15°c to -5°c or less, wind at 0mph to 60mph or more, wave height from 0ft to 20ft, rain or snow from nothing to 24hrs 7 days a week months on end.

It can be freezing cold, crisp, frosty, brilliant sunshine and the best the best place in the world to go walking in the hills followed by a pint or two in a pub next to a fire
