Anyone only needs to look on first page of google after searching 'tohatsu 9.8' to see your own posts about 'wont idle, rough, cutting out'. Enough to scare most people off without assistance from anyone else.

Hi Simon, awesome, that was quick!

Just back myself with the Aerotec and another 2 stroke 15 in the boot (+ assorted lauunch wheels, fuel tank, oars, pump, anchor etc).

Great to meet you and thanks again for the deal.

They're a great engine. Remember two things:

1. 50:1 petrol/TCW-3
2. None or minimal choke on days over 15 centigrade. One pull only on choke.

Thanks for the tips. Took it out for a blast in Christchurch Bay to get it planning. Bit of a laugh.

I enjoy the bit where I launch mine alongside the ragflappers tenders. They have VERY stern looks when I shoot onto the plane in a split second and take off at 20mph. Very ungentlemanlike behaviour apparently.
