My wife has got a Tohatsu 9.8hp on her Ribeye 2.5m. Goes like a rocket.. it's insane
Excellent little engine.

Anyone only needs to look on first page of google after searching 'tohatsu 9.8' to see your own posts about 'wont idle, rough, cutting out'. Enough to scare most people off without assistance from anyone else.

Just back myself with the Aerotec and another 2 stroke 15 in the boot (+ assorted lauunch wheels, fuel tank, oars, pump, anchor etc).

I enjoy the bit where I launch mine alongside the ragflappers tenders. They have VERY stern looks when I shoot onto the plane in a split second and take off at 20mph. Very ungentlemanlike behaviour apparently.

Now I have mine setup right, and the correct pressure in the sib it's the dogs nuts, get's two of us and light fishing tackel on the plane no worries,,love it
