Tohatsu remotes

Hi all
I am looking to use my Tohatsu M9.8B on my new Zodiac Cadet 320 rib. The Tohatsu is currently set up for tiller control but I want to use it with remotes on the new RIB. Does anyone know or have experience of converting the outboard as I’m struggling to locate the parts etcany help much appreciated. Cheers Gary

Gary as I said in the PM I've seen quite a few of these on remotes.

What exactly do you have on the RIB at the moment... steering? throttle/gearshift? cables?

Please make you own enquiries to get the correct part numbers to be sure but here's a start that looks correct from a USA parts site...

https://www.tohatsu.us/index.php?mai...ucts_id=107532

I've expanded the kit image below.

I see that part number is listed by RibShop in the UK so they may be a good start to phone...

Also surely your nearest Tohatsu dealer could sort this?

That’s great many thanks the link to the parts list you previously PM just kept crashing on my IPad. I’ll look into it but things are looking more positive for a result. The rib has a steering wheel with attached cable I also have a Yamaha throttle control unit but no cables so I’m hoping that can be linked in. The steering was the main concern but that kit hopefully solves that problem. Cheers Gary

I think that kit is for the throttle and gears... the steering link would depend on what is already on the end of your steering at the moment. Pics would help??

Cheers I’ll take some pics when it dries up here, it’s approx a 2ft long steel rod at the end of the cable and the Tohatsu doesn’t have the bracket to house this.
