toob paint
http://www.hmgmarine.com/flexithane.html
i know polymarine do a version as do others,
i used this on some Hypaoln and section of PU, material last night out of a spray gun not rollerd or brushed, supply viscosity is pretty dam thick, and for the life of me i can not get it off done a scratch test/ rubbing it on corner of table/picking at it, this is shite to a blanket job,, goin to paint the bottom below strake on the toranado the weekend will show the results as and when, ideal for your sea rider refurbs (with gaffa tape of course) or any thing that has staining from prolonged mooring some place that will not come clean,
Available in any colour of the rainbow or mixed to pattern, i like it, and thought it may be of interest to others,
edd

main points are to key up the surface and dont apply it if the surface is damp or shows any sign of moisture .

Is it a polyurethane based coating? Aliphatic or maybe Aromatic polyurethane?

I know polyurethane toobs are coated with an aromatic poly coating. Obviously using like chemicals to bond with each other would yield a much better end result than polyurethane coating on hypalon. So my thought was to prep the hypalon with a urethane based glue as a primer for the polyurethane paint to adhere to better. There is a urethane based glue that is sold here in the US that is used to bond dissimilar materials (pvc to hypalon, urethane to pvc, urethane to hypalon) together. I plan to try this out at some point.
edit: the glue is called stabond.
