Tornado 5.0m rib info please

Evening all,

I'm involved in a little project that involves a Tornado 5.0m.
Year of manufacture unknown.

My questions are about it's integral fuel tank.
Does anybody know if there was a standard capacity for the tank? or what is the likely minimum capacity?
Is access to the fuel sender easy? If so where is it? (considering upgrading from the dipstick!)
Is there a separate vent/breather for this tank? The filler on the front of the console doesn't seem to combine a breather, although there is no issue regarding fuel starvation.

Thanks in advance.

I'm sure if you put some photos up someone will be able to help, depending on the age and console it could depend what was fitted

Good point, I'll do that next time I'm there.
It's a single man, all-in-one centre console.
Filler at front of console.
Plate says Tornado 5.0m, Viking is on tubes.
I know a picture paints a thousand words, I just assumed there was a standard, or several standard fits.

Tornado 5.0m rib info please

Hi, if it's the Viking model it will be a 60ltr tank the sender won't come out as is as long at the tank it's a tube type. I had to replace mine I had to cut a section out of the console to remove and replace the sender tube but made sure I cut to the right size of a switch panel to cover it which worked great. Look at the image below to see where my switch panel is that's where you would have to cut it out to remove it. There's a vent under the filler pipe.

Thats great info, thanks very much.

The gauge isn't essential, its operated with a full tank (which I now know capacity of) at the start of the day.
There are several blanks on the console so I'll have a look behind them next time.

You have saved me a lot of time and skinned knuckles.
