Tornado Viking 5.4

Hoping to look at a tornado Viking in the next couple of days, it’s running a 90hp optimax.
Are they a decent rib?
Is the optimax well suited to the hull ?
It’s a bit of a trek for me but within budget and would get me afloat.

Tornados are excellent ribs. Very seaworthy with fat tubes make them great in a following sea and a dryer ride in a head sea. We ran a 90 yam 2 stroke in our dive club and it was a great work horse carrying a big load.

We're still running one, great rib that at 13 years old is as good as the day we bought her.

90 yamaha 2 stroke on ours, which is also pretty tidy.

Am gutted to have missed out on this particular rib, deposit was paid on it before I could arrange to see it.
