I have to say I much prefer the idea of a hybrid touch. I've got an old rugged waterproof touchscreen laptop and thats a sod to use the screen if it's raining.

I have a Raymarine a67 on mine and its been great in all weather. Mind you we don't need to wear gloves etc so no idea on how that would affect performance?
