towing a banana

Hello,
I want to tow a banana (a good scream for the grand kids) but the towing hooks on my searider don't look suitable to me. They are just brass hooks, and it looks like the rope could slip of them when it goes slack. So I was just wondering if someone has any suggestions as to what else is available.
