Hi all,
After many years towing boats I tow with a block of wood between engine and bracket, due to state of our roads wood is jumping out.have a XS500 with a Mercury 60hp on an Extreme trailer,
Knowing the vast amount of knowledgeable people on this forum I wondered if people have a better set-up.
TIA Mick.

I use a block of HDPE with a hole in each end and a bungee cord knot in one end loop on the other loop through the hole and back over the end works a treat for me

I made one up to fit a DF140, can’t find the thread right now, but it should come up on a search.
