transom suport bolted through
Hi Guys,
Can anybody tell me if it's normal that the bolts of the transom suport pipes are completely through the hull of an SR 5,4?
and building an console of pvc foam if anybody has advice here welcome to ofcourse

yep I would say so,..
certainly they go all the way through on my SR4.

Normal for the bolts need more info on console plans. Are you making a plug from foam or the console

I don't think they go through the floor on mine-mine look like they are set into glassed on pads. They go all the way through the transom.

hmmm my SR4 is an older model...wonder if its an older Searider feature, the transom stays being bolted through the hull?

The 4m stays go through the hull as far as I know,but the 5.4 doesn't.

My 4m is the same as yours, they do not go through the hull!

I thought I remembered the ones on mine going through the floor, but mine was an early Island Plastics hull. ADS would know-he was the last one here to see it
The struts on a 5.4 DEFINITELY shouldn't go through the floor though.
