Treadmaster ???

Hi all

I have been looking into relaying the deck on our Rib with treadmaster, i have put a question on their forum but still had no reply so hope someone here can help .
As i have said we want to lay treadmaster onto the deck of our rib,we tried
protectakote but didn't work to well , what i need to know can you fix it to aluminium tread plate ? and would it be best to get a professional to do it or do it myself ? we have a 9m inboard diesel .

Good stuff, I've a few new rolls here kicking around waiting to be needed. It will bond to metal but not sure with it already being grooved. Perhaps somebody with experience of doing so can answer you

Treadmaster is "da-best", we put this on our transatlantic sailboat. Very good stuff. The only thing is that it adds "thickness" since it is glued in place. The price is quite high as well.

If you want an OEM anti-skid look, you can try to roll some very thick gelcoat with a long hair roll, it will make a random pattern that is very aggresive. You might not want to do this if you intend to walk on it with naked feet.

I don't know if this product is available in your country, but we sell a product called Kiwi-Grip. It is the same concept of the Gelcoat, but everything is pre-mixed and if use with their specific roll, it makes a great job. Many of our customers are happy with it.
