Treadmaster Peel and Stick

Has any one any experience of using the treadmaster peel and stick as wear pads on their tubes?

Treadmaster make M-Tec self adhesive sheets and pads which they say are designed to be used as rib wear patches:

Rib Pads

I presume they'd bend around the tubes better than something designed for a flat deck? I've not seen them in the flesh though and would be very interested to know how well they stay stuck, compared to using a hypalon patch with a two part adhesive.

I have bought one of the xl grip pads to see it and it does seem to be flexible enough to go round the tubes and has the added bonus of being pre glued.
I would make sure the tubes were pumped up hard and clean them well before i stuck the pads on. Any ideas what to use to clean them with?

I used M-Tec last year, but just bought a full roll and then had local RIB tube specialist Rodella Ribs cut to size and fit with 2 part adhesive. http://www.rib.net/forum/f8/max-size...tch-57401.html

Only been on a year but very impressed so far, and would definitely use M-Tec again.

M-Tec Treadmaster RIB pads

Hi,

I have fitted many M-Tec Treadmaster R.I.B pads (small diamond & ultra grip) using two part Bostik adhesive and very impressed with the results.
