Trim Tab Placement???

I've seen different placement of smart tabs on the same hull.
Any idea which is preferable?

The further out they are, the better they can counteract heeling.

I think Mr. Walker is correct. You want the largest change for a given position, which would mean placing the tabs for the greatest leverage.

That means as far towards the outside as possible without interfering with other stuff.

thanks guys. that pretty much agrees with the instructions from Nuatilus
(smart tab maker) but i have seen them placed both ways and thought maybe there were benefits to both set-ups.

my only issue is (this may be on be on my 4metre only) the placement now of the sonar paddlewheel due to the tabs being in the way - getting funny results now

I've not had a problem with the sonar as the tabs are further out I think but only tried it a couple of times
