Trip to Bembridge on Saturday?

I'm hopeing to pick up my new Rib from Bembridge (IOW) on Saturday.

I have a trailer for it on the mainland and am planning to drive the rib back to Portsmouth.

So if anybody is free on Saturday who fancies a run over to Bembridge and then escort us back it would be most welcome!

I've had a quick look at the tides - HW seems to be about 9am - I think Bembridge is available +- 3 hours.

Can't wait - the week seems to be dragging.....

Jools

Hi Jools,

I'll be down in Fareham on Saturday morning, having a replacement unit fitted for my hydraulic steering which gave up spectacularly last weekend.

When that's done (12ish), I'll be happy to run you over to Bembridge to pick up your new toy.

Let me know if that's suitable for you.

All the Best

Brian

Cor, Brian. Hope the hydraulics didn't pack up because I was driving. (See my last post on Trip to Scillies. Must say, sitting behind you at speed as you flew that boat was an eye-opener. No way my old legs could stand like you did on yours!).

Cheers...
