Tristram Campsite, Polzeath.

Anyone had any dealings with the "management" that run this site? They represent everything that is bad about the Cornish tourism. Beautiful location, rude, uncaring and profiteering management/owners.

Shame really - like you say it's a great location. We've stayed ar Southwinds which I believe is run by the same people. No complaints there at all - stayed last August and didn't seem overpriced etc.

They had a largeish house on site so guess may be the owners of both sites but came over pleasant enough. They seem to pack them in a bit more at Tristram than at Southwinds.

Unless it's changed hands in the meantime?

It's up the hill from Polzeath itself and walking along the road where the pavement runs out could be a bit interesting with the local boy racers doing their stuff. Not funny with a couple of young children.

Did you have any particular experiences with the site that spoilt things?
