Tube antifouling

I have painted my tubes with Gommoguard Clear Inflatable Antifouling and have far from satisfactory results.

Has anyone used it and do you think it does what it says on the tin?

You could try a second layer of hypalon on the underside of the rear section.

AF seems to come off a bit quick unless your tubes are rock hard.

The clear stuff doesn't work. Be like the test if us that rib in heavy fouling areas just paint straight AF on the bare tubes. Don't prime just AF then it comes of easy.

Thanks that's more or less what I thought.

What I don't understand is how they can sell this "special" stuff and clearly it doesn't do what it's supposed to.
