I'm thinking of painting the tubes on my searider sr 5.4 as it's getting on a bit know and looks a little shabby, Has anyone got any thoughts on this, I would also apretiate any advice on paint, colour, application and any negatives associated with doing this

Have a search, I wouldn't paint the tubes but some would.
I wouldn't buy a RIB with painted tubes, it does tend to put some people off.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more of a reaction to this thread.

I wouldn't paint the tubes if it was mine.

They look great for a short while, maybe even a seasons worth of use, but when it starts to peel, and it will, then the tubes will look worse than before.

Nasher.
