Tube Protection
I have a 6m RIB with new PU tubes that lives on a marina berth for 8 months of the year. The rear tubes sit in the water at rest.
The old tubes used to have antifoul on the bottom of the tubes where they were in the water but it never lasted long and didn’t really seem to work very well.
What do you guys and girls use on your tubes if you keep your boat afloat? I’ve heard lard being used but how long does that last for?? Any good results?
I’m in brackish water, hard water area.
