He's listed them in an odd category:
Automotive > Manuals & Literature > Parts Catalogues

yeah-they might well be a scam (there's no warning flags coming up apart from the new account)but as long as he'll allow payment on pickup then someone will be laughing.

Looks like the classic american scammer, they always put london as the location, and the boat is a classic american sports fisher. Engines are not Optis but 2-stroke EFis, were these sold over here?

Pass. Vegetation in the background looks like the UK, and the american 'thru' isn't used. The spelling's better than normal for scammers too. May well be a very clever scammer-it does sound american in the sentence construction though.
Might still be genuine though?
I'm gonna ask him for a phone number...soon find out if he won't give one out.

shaft bent and skeg broken
Doesn't sound too good - which shaft??? If it's the drive shaft then can't be a scam - looks like 2 knackered motors going for spares!!!

Why not mail him and ask to view them and offer to wave a bit of cash around. His reply or lack of will speak volumes. The whole listing looks pretty suss to me.

Already asked him for a phone number...if thats not forthcoming I'll stick a low bid in with my 2nd account and see where I get with that- you never know, it COULD be a genuine bargain, though I doubt it...

Could be, although genuine bargains on Ebay are a bit thin on the ground these days. It's amazing what some things appear to make. I sold my 10yo Gul winter suit the other day, well used with super glued repairs. It made £73!! and I received glowing feedback. The swanky new Salomon replacement was only £25 more.

Snot like I actually want a pair of 150's anyway-just fancy making a shitload of cash on them...
You're right about people paying too much as well, I just sold my shagged mk4 escort estate on there. I put a 'buy it now' on it and it got bid way beyond my overoptimistic BIN...
I find the only way of finding bargains on there now is to search the mis-spells at this time of year.

If they do come cheaply enough and they are sound, with the cosmetics sorted and properly listed, there should be a profit in them.I,m pretty sure that those pics are of an American boat and probably taken in the states. The damage looks like utter miss-use and neglect. The skegs have grounded often over a considerable period. The props look as if they've been hit and are covered in barnicles.Maybe the thing has been used by drug runners.
Just noticed that the "bidder" has minus2 feedback! How dodgy is that?!!

Yeah I noticed his f/back too. Thought-those barnacles look a little large for the UK too.
It could well be katrina damage too though-smashing against rock wall stern first would create that kind of damage.
