two questions...

1. Is there a sticky of retubing companies:

I have a 1990 Bombard Explorer 480 retubing is probably too expensive for me, but I'd love to at least shop around...

Do we have a list of companies that do it?

Even better if they are arranged regionally so I can find one in Southern California.

2. If I cant afford retubing:

Im considering reusing the helm/motor for another boat, is there a place to pick up a good used hull with tubes? Or maybe transfer to some other type of hull?

£1000 per meter to retube and most are booked up at the moment due to not being able to buy new one's...
Good cheap and used are not words that go together at the moment
Expensive pile and shit however do....I'm not being negative but that's the market nowadays.
Best of luck bud.

Thanks for the info. Anyone else have input about socal region retubers and/or uses for the good boat components?

I'm on the east coast so not sure about socal. Try calling around to inflatable boat dealers. They should be able to point you in the right direction for repair facilities. It will take some leg work to find someone.
I would also recommend contacting Bombard directly. They can probably point you to an authorized dealer. Don't know if they would have anything that old but it's possible they could get factory tubes.

I think it'll depend on where you arae, we'll be re tubing the dive club boat the end of the year, we're based in Cornwall so will be looking at Tillies or Lostwithiel for ease. we'd like it to go back to XS as they made it originally, but dragging it all the way to York or WGC seems daft.
