Is Chris open again for launching on the Menai strait again. his web site said he was closed March this year due to covid? Ta Nic

With the announcement that travel restrictions are to be lifted this coming week we are able to announce we will reopen from Tuesday 7th July.

We are going to start with a very limited amount of launches available which will be offered on an ‘hourly slot basis’. This is to control the amount of customers at the yard and car park, and will ensure we can all maintain a more than adequate social distance and for us to be able to work in a safe and controlled manner.

With only being able to offer initially a limited amount of launches, our own yard customers will have first refusal,
Any available slots will then be offered (48hrs beforehand) to anyone who had put their request in with locals and the loyal regulars taking priority next.
(Text / WhatsApp / messenger requests only please).

If we are unable to accommodate you first time, we will endeavour to give you priority on any subsequent request, however some disappointment seems inevitable.

Hopefully, if everyone works and plays sensibly things will continue to improve and we will feel more confident its safe to do more.

Please do not just turn up without a booking as this will spoil our efforts and you will be certainly turned away.

Apologies for what seems a bit of a gloomy post, We are trying to do the best we can. My family, my local community and your familys safety are all at stake here, and ultimately matter the most.

We were down there last week. You have to ring at least 24hr in advance & book a slot. He’s not opening every day.
