Typhoon Dry Suit PS330
With my new UK demo rib now on order I will have to replace my ageing Typhoon WOSS dry suit. Having looked at the Typhoon web page the PS330 caught my attention. Has anyone on the forum got this suit?
the red & black one is a standard product and the yellow one a limited edition. My choice is the red & black one.

I might be mixing my members, or indeed my unmemorable part numbers but I have a feeling ShinyShoe bought something like that earlier in the year. He sails dinghies so probably can tell you if it keeps the water out too!

Many thanks most helpful and as the clips shows easy to put on. I am hoping to visit Typhoon early December as we are their Polish distributor and will try on the suit and if they have my size then will come back with one.

Yip I've got the red.
Not worn it much this year. Nor been for a dinghy swim in it. But I've worn it up front on a RIB in a F5 gusting 6/7 and was thoroughly dry.
Liking the fabric socks. Love the warm bits that are removable.
Can't fault it.

Used the Typhoon in fairly cold environments and was very comfortable and warm.
It was a company suit, so when I got back to the real world, the only shock I got was the price...
As far as I am concerned, If I was buying, I would choose the PS330 for all day boating in wet environment as my day job... just a tad expensive for the recreational buyer...

Aye he's a star, not unlike a young Clarkson[emoji1]
We have the Typhoon MaxB suits & have been very happy with them. The PS330 looks a nice bit of kit[emoji106]

Looks great, nice and snug, plenty of pockets. It's probably a bit of overkill for most people though and a Max B or Multisport would be a whole lot less expensive and still more than adequate.
The Typhoon kit is all pretty good and is backed up with really good customer care.
Still, for anyone with the cash or a trade account a PS330 would be nice to have.

Many thanks for the positive feed back. I will for sure go for the red & black PS330. I will be doing some sea trials in February in Poland so will test it then.

I meant to say - you're gonna need a decent dry suit too, it gets well cold up there...

I took delivery of the red & black suit on Saturday. Must say it is a well thought of dry suit. Easy to don and fasten up without the assistance of a second person. The high collar is detachable and the front warm pockets are great.
I also tried it on with my thick Typhoon under suit and good arm movements with any restrictions. I will have to wait till mid January before I take it out on the water.

yes that is the one I have as well as the lightweight undersuit. I have had the 100g thinsulate for a few years now and is perfect for this time of the year. You will not regret the purchase if you enjoy winter ribbing.

Fantastic suits have had one for 5 years and done a lot of hours, mine is the back zip model just can't wear it out so I can buy the new front entry.I would not go on a long trip without it.Neoprene far better than latex for cuffs and neck seals

it is a very comfortable suit. We have been ribbing in Shetland until the end of october, making long days on the Sea in all kinds of weather up to bft 8. Very good collar and hood. Highly recommended.
