Anybody got any recommendations for UK insurance on our Redbay?

Currently with Towergate

Tried GJW Direct, they were a little bit dearer.

Try Porthcawl or Alan & Thomas, I've had good competitive service from both.

So, are you after cheap insurance or good insurance? As someone once said to me never buy a cheap parachute or cheap insurance! Always remember insurance companies look for reason not to pay out and usually cheap means they pay less claims

I have both my boats insured with gjw ,and have beeen for a few years ,what i had,nt realised was its agreed value insurance ,you tell them what value you want to insure for boat ,engine and trailer and what you pay for is what you get !!,you dont end up fighting about values after the bits are lost ,if you overvalue your stuff then they dont care as the premium is more . there is also an added bonus for me as there is no wheel clamp discussion (i hate those things ,knuckle scrapers )

We use craftinsure.com they are usually cheap & we have made a couple of claims over the years which they settled very fairly.
When you claim is usually when you find out how good or bad an insurance company is.
Worth a try as its so simple to get a qoute, most stuff is done online but when you ring a real person answers the phone

UK insurance

I’m still with Towergate, they’ve always been fine!
Discounts for qualifications as well.
