UK Licensing

Hi,

Looking at buying first rib, but can't find any thing on whether licensing / registration is required ?

Please can you help.

You can register on the SSR (Small Ships Register) - I belive you need this whrn travelling to other countries?????

Mike - you can contact The Small Ships Register on 029 2076 8205/6. Registering only costs £10 and gives you the option of going across to France if the mood takes.

As well as the SSR, don't forget the VHF Licence for the vessel if you have one fitted. Hand portables can be can be licenced on their own with a "T****" transportable callsign.
