Can anyone tell me the best site for RIB sales in the UK. Looking from overseas at what is available there and prices etc.

I don't think there is a good one! Ebay, Gumtree and boats and outboards are full of scams and overpriced tat that will confuse you.

Find a fishing boat seems to fair better, but doesn't see much leisure action.

Jbt have stuff but not high turnover to get a big picture.

Individual manufacturers sometimes sell their trade ins but usually quite brand specific.

Actually ribnet for sale pages probably give you an idea as much as anything but beware some people have ambitious valuations and others use the frustrating POA...

Oh and boatshed24 and appolloduck both have stuff so worth a look, but not perfect.

One of my dive branch members a few years ago bought a new RIB in the UK and had it shipped out to NSW when he bought a house there. I think he bought at the London boat show ie a 'boat show special' apparently it was well worth paying the import taxes etc. I also think he got exactly what he wanted. It was about 6m, I think a Ribcraft with a 150 Yam. He finds the cost of spares/service items in OZ such a rip off that on his regular trips to the UK he buys these bits and pieces here. He also makes sure he keeps it out of the sun inside between use.

Mine came from Se Swift Boats - Home – speak to Dave. With the boat show this coming weekend they may well get some part exchanges in.
