unique RIB on Ebay

Have a look at this older RIB I found on Ebay.

Has an unusual hull shape at the rear, almost a cat/cathedral. Anyone know anything about this?

Think it might be one of these, unless anyone knows better ? Pictures copied because in 3 months e bay will delete these and it would be shame to loose a possible reference

Indeed as mine is only 3m. Gives you a good idea of the interesting hull shape though

RIBase
I saw one of these in Poole...

A few months back there was a kiddy of about 17 with one of these at Baiter slip in Poole-not this one though. Wonder if it was a local design to the area? His one only had a 35hp on it and was red/black tubes. It was on a pretty crappy rusty mild steel trailer without a winch.

the larger version is the blagg bosun designed by woody blagg from his blagg 480 speed boat the first one was tubed by me in 1982 with approx 20 built over 7 years and the smaller version the bosuns mate also designed by woody blagg in1983 with approx 70 built over 10 years both designs were also manufactured in new zealand by paul barlow , barlow marine . i have seen the bosuns mate in lyme regis with 8 people on board only slightly overloaded ,in its day it was a fantastic boat not sure how it compares now the larger bosun was very fast (i think lorne cambell was an associate of woodys) but was unstable fore and aft when stationry in a big swell water would come over the bows easily
