Best I can do for a forward facing view at the minute

There is a HIN on the starboard side of the transom but it starts GBSIM which is Sunseeker! I know, go figure?
It's why I'm assuming it was a tender to a sunseeker (waiting on a call back from them to see if they can shed any light)

Ask biffer nicely and he might tell you what mine says. It would not surprise me if the SIM is Shakespeare International Marine.
It definitely looks lime a Shakespeare 720 Sportrib hull to me.

Did you look at iandl's build thread?

I have tubed two 720 shakespeares and have a very good memory for an old bugger also just checked my files GBSIM is definitely start of Shakespeare HIN number .looking at the hull from the bows they do look similar to revenger but spray rails are very different to solent ribs and any other phantom based hulls

GB is the country code

Sunseeker's manufacturers code is XSK.

So, it's not a Sunseeker.

Unknown RIB

So, we seem to have settled on Shakespeare then guys.

Can't thank you all enough for pointing me in the right direction!

Now all I need to do is work out what it's worth to see about buying it.

As the HIN does appear correct for the rib (rather than being associated to a Sunseeker as I had been led to believe) I know that it's a 2006 anyway.

Suggestions as to value are more than welcome!

Having looked at the thread there's absolutely no doubt it's the same hull! Fantastic!

I think you are being generous for a police recovered bare hull and trailer. I doubt he'll get the chance to inspect it properly, there is no warranty, they want rid of it and unless they are actively marketing it are not really interested in max value as min effort. If he sees the engine running I'd be staggered never mind them having the patience to let a random mechanic attach a PC for a printout.

My brother works for the Police so I guess I'm getting a little more access to this than would normally be afforded.

If I decide to buy this it will be following a run up and check over of the engine. More economical to play with than my current outfit so would then put that up for sale. The problem is that I'm just having a total refurb on that and I'm not sure I could let it go lol

What it is worth and what he pays for it is something completely different.

If the tubes hold air with no patches, trailer is okay and all those electronics work then 5k is ball park of what it is worth IMO....certainly no more than that i'd think.

cheers
