Unsolicited shout-out for Defender

Hey guys, FWIW, I wanted to recognize Defender in CT for their amazing commitment to customer service. I've had a long standing relationship with them starting 9 yrs ago when I purchased my first rib from them. Recently I bought my 2nd.

The list is so long as to the many items they stood behind. They went to bat for me with the manufacturer numerous times, and when they couldn't get resolve there, they themselves went above and beyond making things right on their dime.

When I think of the profit they made off of the 2 sales to me, and divide that by the number of hours and the amount of effort the put in servicing my needs in the years following my purchases, I can't imagine I was a very profitable customer for them.

But to me that is representative of their commitment to making their customers happy.

Without boring you with the long and tedious story of my latest situation and their "above and beyond" measures to resolve, I just thought they deserved the recognition, so I wanted to post.

If you live in the area, I can't recommend them highly enough as the go-to place to purchase your rib.

Somebody from Defender is on RIB.net, I believe (though I might be mistaken about his employment.)

Shows up from time to time in the North American forum, often in the For Sale subforum.

I bought a jockey console from them and also looked into buying some other hard to find items. Wether it was through email or phone, I have always received A+ service too. I like their photos of the RIB filled warehouse. I often daydream that I won the lotto and that the warehouse is my personal garage.
