Updated Pics of my Avon SR6

Hi All,

I have finally got my Collapsable top set up, and have changed a few other odds and sodds around.

I am keen to find 6" Inspection Holes, as I can not get decent ones in OZ.

I like the style that has the quick bar over the top of the hatch that locks it down, but not available over here.

We have plastic 6", Brass or Aluminium but they are screw downs and the Brass and Aluminium sieze up when debris gets into the threads, and the plastic, well they are plastic.

Can anyone refer me to the original Manufacturer of the Avon inspection plates or decent aftermarket ones. prefer Aluminium. Need to be round 6"

Regards All

Hi Pete7, Yes they are what I would be after. Can you put me onto a reseller, ideally one that is happy to ship international to Oz.

Regarding my Harpoon system, specifically designed for japanese Tourists in mind. No Only kidding - It is well set up for my single handling - diving. I mentioned the anchor in a previous thread some time ago - It is a SARCA (Sand and Reef Combination Anchor). Swear by it. The electric winch saves me the effort after a good dive.

I don't really have photos of it underway on the water. Next time I take my underwater camera out I will get some pics.

Regarding the Canopy, I rather would not have it in some ways - But we have a significant hot spot over here, some call it the sun. 40+ celcius.

keen to track down those inspection ports. Cheers.

Ummm... How does the collapsible top collapse?

Is your anchor roller a custom job?

Nice looking rig.

Yes, The bowsprit is custom built with anchor chain well.

The Top has 4 arms. The two front have bushes which pivot and attached to the Console.

The rear two arms have bushes and locking pins with poly blocks. Pull out the pins and loosen the console pivot points and the whole top folds back and sits at the level of the rear seats. If needed, the windscreen folds forward as well.

Regards.
