Just got some stuff from Eddie Marine - http://www.eddiemarine.com/ - Stainless marine do the best Jackplate / Lifter I have seen to date which most people use in offshore - http://www.stainlessmarine.com/ Although Bob Irwin had a twin ram one on the boat at Exmouth which looked fantastic.

I think most of the American sites will export and to date I have always got stuff quicker than dealing with British companies! I can Recomend UPS - they really have got it together, but make sure you have the right money if paying the duty by cash - the drivers don't keep change!

Hi All

I've been chatting with a guy called Pat in the states that runs a company called www.wintronelectronics.com he will ship via UPS to the UK anything you wont, i asked him to quote me on the new Hummingbird Matrix 55 he can supply this and fly it over for £267 ok you have the duty on top of that but so far i've only been able to source one for £550 here, its a big difference and as they are made for the US market anyway !!! i've not yet used him so i cant vouch for his reliability but its worth ago IMHO.

Send a message via MSN to MeMe
U.S Postal

I have inthe past few days spoken to a number of U.S based Zodiac Dealers. All were more than happy to post to the U.K. I also spoke to a couple of French outfits who were as keen to post out as they were to joining the alliance in the Gulf. Support the Yanks I say ! They're cheaper anyway.
