UV degradation

Does anyone have good info re UV degradation of Zodiac tubes?

My 2005 4.2m Pro will be kept outside from now on (garaged until now) and has a grey Zodiac pc cover that doesn't fully cover the tubes - am planning to have canvas cover made as I've heard the the tubes are prone to UV degradation - but it'd be good to know what that means in practice, eg discolouration or decay, how much and after how long? Googling so far not showing much.

Plenty of Guys keep thier RIBs outside,as I did fo many years with no real problems.....undoubtably a decent cover is the key as....then UV shouldn't be a problem.
Regular checks and normal cleaning/maintanece should take care of the rest, although a Hyperlon protector (applied after a clean) like the 3m product,or Armourall will keep her looking nice AND help with the likes of UV..Bird Shite ...Kids Suncream Fish Scales.. ect ect...when you are using it!
