Nope now in the mud, it was only in the marina whilst we waited for the Versadock to come down.

Hi Ya
Having had loads of fun with the Jet float pontoons over the years, do you need to check all the locking pins and plastic bolts every month?
I noticed on some of the pictures that they were not all marina berths, are there problems getting the boat on to the dock if its on a swinging mooring?
Rgds

I'd also be interested to know how well they work on a swing-mooring

Versadock - Swinging Mooring
Hi
On the swinging moorings these are fixed to the ground using heavy anchors. Obviously these will still move as any anchored boat would with the tide, except when you drive up onto them having an anchor in each corner prevents the dock from traveling away from the boat when docking.
Pic attached to show a dock on a swinging mooring, the ground anchors are fixed to rings under the dock.
Regards
Richard

Hi Jelly,
No the pins should be ok, but worth a check maybe every 6 months but you can visualy see if they move with the two holes on top for the building tool.
We were very suprised that the dock worked so well on a mooring with chains! once you have taken up on the chains she just glides on!
Must do a vid one of these days.........
Regards,
Nick

Versatile
The Versadock has plenty of uses, now I won't be trying this out on my new Thunderbolt when I collect her.
