Nice blank canvass to work on though!
Let us know if you snatch it up.

Its on boats and outboards as well for 1.5k:
http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/view/OAB116/
It says on the ebay ad that it was stolen and recovered but when recovered it had been refurbished......Also says that it was towed back from Devon

I really really fancy that Rib! I don't think that for a 4m you can get any better boat than a searider.
Just have to convince the finance dept. (daaaad....)

They are solid as a rock. My favourite is the 5.4, the 6.0 ones are a bit big behind your car, they are a big 6.0m rib.
Lots of people go out and buy nice new ribs but how many of the new boats will stand the test of time and still be running 15-20 years later?
bombproof and we like it!

I was thinking that, also if you enlarge the pic of the hull it looks like a hand painted job, 'definitely recommend viewing first!

Can never understand what the problem is with hand painting a hull if its done properly. Certainly better than having a drab dirty looking one?

A hand painted job is fine, the photo's look a bit misleading. I've seen some very impressive painted tubes, i think its best to cover the tubes in fairy liquid and water to check for any leaks when buying.

Went to see the boat this afternoon - decided against buying - unfortunately doesn't look as good close up - tube paint beginning to peel in a number of areas/inconsistently applied - hull paint also flaking - steering functional but evidence of corrosion - console seat quite small - trailer doesn't really fit the hull being a recent match up, too big really - quite an old looking snipe with bunks and side rollers, transverse leaf spring suspension - bunks have scraped some paint off the hull - wheel bearings ok some play - some corrosion on the trailer painted over...
I wasn't 100% on the transom either - big alloy plate screwed to the back - prodded in the mounting holes not sure if a bit spongey.
So all in all decided to either spend a bit more or get something that hasn't been tarted up
