Video - London to Monte Carlo

I managed to take some video on the recent trip to MC in June and posted on youtube at the address below. Boating video is painfully boring so i thought i would cut out the bits where we got some water overhead - thought it might be fun !

Most of it was Bay Biscay and down along Portugal (the foggy part).

I used a GoPro on top of the radar arch and thought it worked quite well with really good video quality. Only negative is that the battery only lasts a few hours and there were some sections/afternoons when i would have loved the gopro to be on to capture some really rough seas but the battery had died or memory was full.

Any ideas on how to hard wire the battery into the boat electrics ? or maybe even another waterproof system ?

Hi Steve, the new Garmin VIRB looks good, it can take up to 3hrs record time.

maybe look at hardwiring something in when she comes back for the service
