Hello, Taking the rib to Barra next week, staying near Eoligarry. Any recommendations on slipways and places to visit? Got a 2 and 4 yr old so we won't be going very far, probably just pottering around the coast.
I think there is a slip at Castlebay and I suspect you could use the slip where the ferry goes to Eriskay. There is a tiny harbour at Eoligarry.
Places to visit - the islands south of Barra all look very interesting or you could potter in the Sound of Barra although it is a bit rock strewn. Fuday, just east of Eoligarry looks nice with a couple of beaches to land on. In short, all of it looks fantatstic.
