Can't help thinking that this is a great way to make heavy arms available to the bad guys. "accidentally" smash into it at high speed, take weapon as it's going to be relatively defenseless to a boarding. You're going to need another heavily armed boat to look after this one, maybe even one with people in if these turn out to be vulnerable to jamming control signals
