Water Intrusion Issue Caribe

Hello!

I just redid my 2005 Caribe 20’ RIB. Put new floor in and new bolster and center console as wells as seating.

Just out for the first time to run the boat after all the work and the bolster fill with water. I took boat from the water opened the hull drain plug and no water came out!!

I tasted the water and it was a little salty (I use boat in ocea ) but not super salty so don’t think it’s salt water.

If water got in through a screw hole when I was doing all the work due to rain are there inner chambers that can fill with water that are NOT connected to the hull drain plug?

I am super confused on where this water is coming in. Any ideas on how these boats are designed? I’ve tried to contact Caribe/Nautica with no responses.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks all

Welcome to Rib.net

To me a bolster might be considered a seat or leaning post. Where exactly is the water? Do you have pictures?
