Don't know what it's looking like for the UK, but as far as I can see we've got F5+ for the next ten days. Anyone with a more optimistic view?

Very keen to do a French run now I've got my wings trying out on the South coast of Jersey!

Blowing a gale here is swansea - very high tides and loads of water coming down the rivers!!!

It is the weather data from buoys around the coast - you can see what weather is coming your way - brilliant!!!

Have you been out to the Ecrehou's? Its supposed to be some of the best bass fishing anywhere.

Ecrehous is good for bassing but not the best in last few years, more and bigger bass been producing on deeper marks than within the reefs. fantastic location to fish though and have bbq apres fish!!

Freetrader - Metcheck.com is superb for weather forecasting much better than jersey met office who sometimes cant even get it right for yesterday it seems!!

Where in france you venturing too?? moules frites and a biere froid at the rendez vous des peches (portbail) can see it in my dreams right now!!
Only 8 days of this darn course to go and i will be over there!!

Going to try off Corbiere this weekend. Apparently, there's sand eels being caught there. I'm not the world's best fisherman mind you, but fresh sea bass really takes some beating.

Karl: my fav's would be Carteret, Granville, and Chaussee. Looking for the weather window, but man it's cold here now!

Well here in the Solent today it's beatiful. Hardly any wind, lots of blue sky, and lots of sun

Here too Tim - just shows you how wrong the weather forecast can be. Weather Online was giving f5- 37mph gusts today, but it's been flat calm, and even warm!
