This is the sort of info we in the aviation sector have been using for a few years and now is available to all. Whilst the actual forcast is better on other sites, the weather radar is very useful.

Good site 250 I have always used XC weather which has proved spot on for forcasts.

You can register to use this site free of charge, gives you access to all the latest satellite pictures, can give you really accurate information on the timing of fronts etc. I got it from a neighbour who flies a balloon!
