Looks like some form of cruise liner tender to me. Hideous.

Lol... Actually i kind of like it...

Its like the bastard love child if an inter-city 125 train, and a portakabin :-)

The highway maintenance chevrons need to go though and i bet the viz is pretty poor from the helm... Some serious lateral blind spots going on there.

Yeh I agree Simon , also suspension seats would be a lot better and the helm could be set a bit higher.

And you'd be sitting in a mess afterwards because they forgot to put a hole in the seat.

Underpowered ! 18 knots max it probably will not plane at a sensible cruise rpm. Needs another 100+ hp....

I sort of like it, must have cost a fortune to put together!
But that helming position look like you wouldn't bugger all apart from ahead
Agreed on a lot of boat for the money.

I'm guessing that it's the prototype that they had on show at Seawork in 2010

http://www.rib.net/forum/f16/seawork-2010-a-36450.html

I wonder if any more ever got built?

HMS 'BUCK ROGERS' should indeed have a bigger engine or twin jets... 18 knots on a 6LPA.....she must be really heavy (displacement of 5 MT?). It would make a really cool ambulance in Venice though.

Interesting concept, a rib with a boot.

Styling is bit odd, front end from an x wing fighter and the back end from a Vauxhall Victor, some nice light clusters would finish up the back end.

Might be handy for shallow water survey work?
