Well Done Barrus

I purchased a valiant rib from a company in Cork 4 years ago. This company subsquently ceased trading in Valiant ribs. I contacted Barrus UK and it was arranged that the rib would be inspected by a local tube repair business. I was making a claim under warranty as the Baffle was leaking. Barrus have honoured the Warranty claim andthe baffle will be repaired this week.

Over the years I have learnt the hard way that the after sales service is as important as the product. If the after sales service is not in place it does not matter how good the product is.

Its nice to have a good news story

Good to see both Barrus and Valiant stepping up and I hope the repair is completed as efficiently. Who knows we might get a Summer yet!

hi TSM
I've got a valiant 490 dr on a mooring in Dunmore East. Excuse my ignorance, but what's a baffle. Also how long does warranty last with Valiant? I understand they were taken over by the Brunswick group.

The Baffle is a dividing wall the seperated the tube into sub sections. The thinking is if one section is lost then the remaining sections stay inflated

I wasn't aware that there were any authorised Valiant Service agents in Ireland. Btw whats your set up on the rib I've got a 2 man jockey console, but no A frame.
