Looks fab [emoji108]. Where did you launch and base yourselves in Skye?

Great video guys and thanks for sharing it.

I was in a quandary where to go next..but now almost certain it will be Skye again after watching your video..if I get a calm day will do the same coastline from Idrigill to Neist ..its one of the best in the UK IMO

Based ourselves in self catering cottage in Stein. Moorings rented from Hebridean Diving Services. I'm pretty sure they could help with trailer storage, parking & "wild" camping if that's your thing. Excellent slip (virtually any tide)

Definitely, some places are ideal for a SIB/FRIB. Apparently the tunnel/cave has another cave going off near the waterfall. To tight for the RIB but just maybe...

Is that the slip near the Stein Inn?

Cool..good to know..if its possible due to weather and Im going Guppy ..I will give it a bash Last Tango. Next time you are up there..I can fully recommend the Spar cave that I mentioned earlier but you will need a tender then walk up a steep ramp inside the cave ..Its not like any other cave I have been in. This is just a short clip to illustrate a small part of the cave. I dont want to spoil the forthcoming video by publishing more footage yet ..but you get the idea. Take a big powerful torch though I though mine was powerfull enough but it gets lost in the huge space.

Took a trip to Canna today then nipped over to Spar Cave. Certainly is pretty awesome. Dropped an anchor off shore at high tide ("no-tourist" access time) and took the dinghy in to the shore.Bit of a hike for an old codger like me but well worth the effort. Breezeblock swam across the pool and went further into the cave and there is apparently another "stairway" going down the other side.

Cool.

PS Our torches were woefully inadequate

Just back from Skye again. I went from Harlosh to Neist Point in the 2.75m Frib and was like a rat up drainpipes pipes in the caves and also tried to circumnavigate all the sea stacks.

I didn’t find any caves branching off other caves but I didn't have a torch so may have missed something..but a shoal of mackerel size fish swam over the green sandy bottom in that first cave you went in Last Tango.. just as I entered it. Its the cave immediately to the left of the waterfall and another cave just to its left but was too shallow to enter.

The best cave I got in is the one between Idrigill Point and MacLeod’s maidens..it goes in a looong way and round a 90 degree bend. Not much wider than the F Rib..but I didn’t go right to the end. It sounded like someone was getting murdered in the dark. I guess it was just the cormorants ..but it was a blood curling noise coming from the dark and echoing down the long cave.

I was still video’ing leaving the cave when I heard a loud “Blow” behind me and out to sea..I turned only to glimpse a whale around 500 meters off shore. I was too slow to get it on video though . Its dorsal was bigger than a minke ..but it was just a quick glimpe and I wasn’t going out after it in my wee boat

I also did the coast from Staffin to Rubha Hunish although I didn’t go as far as the tide race. That section of coast is every bit as stunning as the Idrigill to Neist coast. In fact some parts are better although on a slightly small scale. Videos will follow when I get time although they are in a waiting list of ones to do.

Some fantastic updates and videos guys, looks like everyone's making the most of the weather window! We're doing our final draft planning session tonight so will post some updates on where we're thinking of heading in next few days. :-) Very excited!
