Hi All
The refurb on my Ribtec 655 is going well albeit slowly - finding the time is hard!
I am soon to be preparing and painting the tubes and am going to go with the Flexithane Flexible Hypalon paint product which was recommended on a thread on here somewhere.
I guess first up - am I better to stick with a colour close to the original (Dark Blue) or is it possible to change the colour?
If it can be changed I think the grey looks good - what would you lot go for!?!?!?!?!?
Subjective I know but would be interesting to get a vote going!!
Sticking with the same colour will be much more forgiving for cutting in edges & awkward corners.

stick with the same.. retail value will be lost if you paint it as you are basically covering something that could be knackered.. try cleaning what you have

I did a lot of research on painting tubes ....... long story but outcome was as follows
Most wear off pretty quick one manufacture does not but its not available readily on market as it was originally manufactured in NZ for spraying curtain sides of lorries.
as my company buys bucket loads of marine paint I got donated paint and thinners as part of a deal and sprayed up my avon 4m as tubes were tired it was cream (dirty white) sprayed black. 2 years on I gave a couple of areas a quick touch up but had been left in the water and abused for 2 years and was amazed at how good this paint was
it starts off life clear you can pigment it with any colour (polyester pigment)
Best bit is that I used about 3 litres to paint the whole boat with 3 coats and I have about 17l left. more than happy to donate if you would like to use as I will never use this much in my life time and only came in 25l drums.
few pics to follow - was very shiny to start but did dull down
