What do you have on your boat

Hi all thought i would start this thread to see what every one has on there rib , from toys to safety equipment ,plus it might help others in there boating to see what people have

Bailing bucket, folding. (for when wiLlfish has had too much breakfast)
Fuel siphon (for when wiLlfish is in charge of refueling)
Jump leads (for disciplining wiLlfish)
Large buoy (wiLlfish)
Emergency Steering stuff
Air pump
12v Searchlight, handheld.
Handheld sighting compass, water resistant charts
Halon Fire Extinguisher
Tools, spares, Emergency & First aid stuff
Independent twin fuel reserves & spare two stroke oil
Small Pelicase c/w PLB, Handheld VHF, GPS and LED divers torch and Multimeter (thanks Polwart, no brainer - once someone thinks of it for me)
I generally conceal a Mars Bar somewhere on the craft too

I also brief my crew where all the kit is stored and how to make a mayday, and start engine.

Most of the stuff lives in waterproof bags or cases that I remove from boat when its not in used.

I dread the day i stopped by police with my sailing gear in boot! I make sure all knifes in my boot, inside a case with other sailing stuff.

I need to buy some 2 horse shoe's, that i will attach to a frame, and about to attach solas reflective tape to to few key spots. Looking at active X reflector or AIS TRANSCEIVER.

Prob. missed a few, few items i carry since i usually get called to help out a club dinghy or help out in club events.

To be honest i think it totally depends on what your doing, thre's a big difference between going out for a quick trip or vanishing off into remote areas. Basics should be VHF and possibly a back up, these days a mobile phone is useful. Ropes and warps, spare propeller, spark plugs and a basic toolkit along with a first aid kit should be mandatory along with personal lifejackets. Chartplotter is useful along with charts (along with an ability to use them).

I personally don't feel the need to go out with most of the local chandlery on board.

depend where you local chandler is! where I boat this can be 40 mins/ 60 mins away by car if your lucky and not a sunday!

I carry more, so i can same myself hassle of towing in a mate! or club member.
