What do you know.........

about the Ribquest range of RIBs. They have a small range of sizes 5.3 5.8 & 6.3. Considering changing our 5m Humber but looking at all options.

Your thoughts.

I went out on a Ribquest at the Cowes Rib Show. Not a bad boat and handled nicely but I thought the quality of the finish was poor. I ended up buying a Rib-X because I wanted a nice looking boat. If it is just for diving or something like that then it is good value.

Is Rib-X the new name for Falcons?

Peter.

Thanks for the reply, gives me something to look at. Intend to use is as another school boat, and probably for the occasional dive trip.

Cheers

Peter RIB-X is a trade name of the FALCON importer in the UK. The boat is made and sold by FALCON SOUTH AFRICA.

The 640s are good alround boats for the family man. We have been renting them out and now they all have over 50 hours various people used them with varied boating skills and use and have to say that the engines and the boats have done pretty well.
However, when the boats arrived in Greece from South Africa we had to re-wire them and embark on some cosmetic work.
