With new engine, I'd guess higher. Start with a 2.

Oh, revise downwards then, by a lot.

IMHO I wouldn't buy it at all.

Well, the engine history makes it very hard to value but I'd guess probably less than this: http://www.rib.net/forum/f21/redbay-...0-a-49398.html which has presumably just sold for a bit under £13.5k. It might not have the most popular tube colour, and is a meter shorter slightly smaller engine - but its newer and the engine hasn't been for a swim.

And this is also smaller, with only 150 horses (but low hours, still in warranty and no scary history) but is going to appeal to similar buyers to yours - for similar money to the one above and much newer http://www.rib.net/forum/f21/tornado...rib-49364.html

So I'd guess if you are looking for a quick sale it has to be in the magic sub £10k range? So its competing favourably with this sort of thing:

http://www.rib.net/forum/f21/2001-hu...age-47895.html at £9.5k obviously that is a different kettle of fish - but it all depends how buyers view the engine history. Or something a bit closer to yours which has now sold but was advertised here as "Tornado 6.6m (mid 90s) 150hp Optimax (2001, 700hrs) £7,250 ono. Trailer. All excellent condition.

It's called back-tracking, quickly.

If swamped with whatever type of water or liquid, doesn't the engine sit above the water line? That way you drop the trunks/flaps and power up to drain the water out. Ours does.

Unless flipped of course.... Or sunk.

I suppose you could say tecnically that all the water in the river is rainwater or spring water, replenished by rainwater, so in one way swamped with rainwater would be one way of saying sunk!

Maybe a bit of an estate agent type description

Filled with water and f**ked might be a better way of putting it

Or in estate agent speak "thoroughly flushed after use"

How exactly did it get filled with rain water, what happened? You had better get your story straight before a potential buyer rocks up, your description so far would put off a potential buyer.
