I don't see why not Chris. My DI is a 2004 model but was commisioned in 2006 and still had the correct warantee period.

Seems the records of my engine were lost somewhere in the switch to BRP as it was bought just before BRP took over the Evinrude concession. It is now on the database, and the warranty runs from the commission date

Thanks South Coast Marine for your efforts (they also do the cheapest XD100 that I have seen recently!)

I doubt that you engine is pre BRP as they took over almost 10 years ago.

THe E-tec was only introduced after BRP took over.
